Setting Up Demand

Connecting Demand Partners Overview

During the onboarding process, the Nimbus team will work with you to add your current demand partners, as well as recommend additional new demand partners. The Nimbus team will work to ensure demand partners are mapped to your account on the Nimbus platform. We will prioritize demand partners ready to be mapped to your account at launch, but will continue to work with you to add demand partners in phases as demand partners are ready to begin bidding on your inventory.

We encourage you to test as many demand partners as you feel comfortable with. We recommend starting with at least 10 demand partners upon launch to ensure diverse demand and healthy competition.

Starting with fewer partners (less than 10) may negatively impact initial ramping and performance, but this is highly variable per publisher, so work with your Nimbus Account Team on the best demand strategy at launch and over time.

Publisher's Existing Demand Partners

During initial onboarding steps, provide the Nimbus team with a list of the demand partners that you have existing agreements with. For your existing demand partners that you've approved to bid into Nimbus, the Nimbus team will work directly with each partner to get you setup with no additional paperwork needed.

Publishers Adding New Demand Partners

For any demand partners you're not currently working with, but would like added to your Nimbus connection, the Nimbus team will provide you an introduction to those demand partners. Once agreements are confirmed, Nimbus will work with the demand partner to get things enabled.

Nothing will be setup in your Nimbus account until an agreement is signed between you, the publisher, and the demand partner and the demand partner is ready to start bidding into Nimbus. Please share confirmation of the agreement to the Nimbus team so the demand partner can start bidding via Nimbus.

After onboarding, your Nimbus account team may make additional recommendations as new demand partners become available or based on your performance. You can also request new demand partners to bid into Nimbus directly from the Nimbus Dashboard. Please reach out to your Nimbus Account Team at any time with questions!

Working with Demand Partners

While Nimbus provides many tools to help publisher improve and control monetization, the Nimbus platform cannot fully replace publishers' relationship with demand partners. It's important that publishers continue to have a regular cadence of engagement with all your demand partners, including those bidding into Nimbus.

Publishers should monitor performance and run discrepancy checks between Nimbus and demand partners and work directly with demand partners on any possible optimizations. Please flag any discrepancy issues to the Nimbus Account Team.
