Onboarding
We're excited that you've signed on with Nimbus! Your dedicated Account Team will help guide you through our onboarding process.
The onboarding process typically takes 4 - 8 weeks from completing the onboarding form to being fully launched, but can vary based on integration type, publisher resources, and release schedules.
Onboarding & Integration
Prep & Planning
Technical Integration & Testing
Technical Documentation & Nimbus Sample Apps
The Nimbus account team will include links to the technical documentation specific to your integration in your onboarding document. The onboarding document will also include Nimbus test keys.
For SDK integrations, Nimbus requires build reviews prior to going live. Nimbus will need app builds to review one week prior to launch date to ensure hitting a publisher's target launch date. Publishers should not submit to app stores or move to production prior to Nimbus signing off on a build review.
Enabling Demand
Nimbus team works on setting up and enabling your demand partners in parallel to the technical implementation
Launch
Publisher must notify Nimbus 1 business day prior to sending traffic
Production keys will be provided to you
Production keys will be sent to you after a build review is completed (if applicable), your Nimbus environment has been configured on the backend, and your demand partners
Nimbus runs post-live checks
Nimbus notifies all demand partners the integration is now live
Upon initial launch, publishers are expected to conduct their own impression and revenue discrepancy checks
Post-Launch
Monitor performance
The Nimbus team will help monitor performance after going live and make any recommendations for optimizations based on initial analysis
Publishers should also monitor performance and flag any questions or concerns to your Nimbus Account Team
Publishers should provide insights into their ad stack outside of Nimbus so that Nimbus can provide recommendations on performance
Ramping demand
We recommend publishers setup regular check-in with their demand partners and share feedback to the Nimbus team
As a publisher, you should help demand partners become familiar with your inventory (i.e. user demo, geos, devices, floors, etc.) and form a relationship with your direct demand partners
It's important to note, that demand typically takes ~30-90 days to acclimate to traffic, especially if it's a new demand partner that is not familiar with your supply.
Post-Launch Call
Approximately 2-4 weeks after fully launched, the Nimbus Account Team will coordinate a post-launch call, if needed, to review the onboarding process and performance so far, as well as discuss ongoing account management and support post-onboarding.
Topics include:
The Nimbus Dashboard reporting and tools
Floor strategy
Performance optimizations
Ongoing Account Management & Support
The Nimbus Account Team will continue to have regular check-ins to help you grow our overall partnership and provide support
Publishers should regularly monitor performance, including render rates, fill rates, win rates, bid density, CPMs per ad type, performance per demand partner, etc. and discuss with their Nimbus Account Team.
